Hallie profile

Hallie Vishny, PsyD (Berger)

I am a thoughtful and empathetic therapist who strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel heard and supported. I approach therapy as a collaborative journey, rooted in curiosity and a deep desire to help my clients heal and grow. I find immense joy and fulfillment in providing opportunities for insight and progress, and I want my clients to feel that our work together is meaningful, helpful, and empowering.

My passion is working with adults and teenagers struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. I enjoy working with graduate school students and young professionals navigating the pivotal transitions and adjustments that surface during this developmental stage.

My approach integrates relational and psychodynamic models, complemented by creative techniques like music and art. I often use psychoeducation to help clients better understand their emotions and relationships. I am intentional about setting both short- and long-term goals with my clients, as I find that achievable milestones foster self-esteem, insight, and overall well-being.

I believe that change in therapy begins with increased awareness—gaining insight into patterns and connections that shape our experiences. Through deeper understanding, my clients learn to break free from unhealthy cycles, take control of their lives, and make positive changes.

In 2021, I earned my Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have experience working in private practice, school, hospital, and community mental health settings.
