Gabi Granoff, PsyD
I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and grounded space infused with humor and authenticity. I believe that relationships are at the heart of the human experience, and I am deeply committed to fostering trusting, meaningful connections with my clients.
My expertise lies in supporting individuals with histories of chronic and persistent interpersonal trauma, as well as those navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. I work with people who feel stuck in unwanted patterns—whether in relationships, moods, or behaviors—or those who sense that “something just seems off” and are seeking deeper self-understanding.
My approach integrates psychodynamic, body-oriented, and feminist theory psychotherapy. Grounded in feminist theory, I consider the impact of systemic and cultural influences on individual experiences and relationships. I work to empower clients by addressing societal structures and narratives that may contribute to feelings of oppression or disconnection, fostering a space where they can explore their authentic identities and embrace their inner strength.
As a supervisor, I provide a supportive and reflective environment where supervisees can grow both personally and professionally. My supervision style is an integration of psychodynamic, developmental, feminist, and person-centered models, emphasizing the relational process, the unique developmental needs of each supervisee, and the impact of systemic factors. I encourage supervisees to explore their own identities and countertransference while fostering their clinical skills and confidence. My aim is to cultivate an empowering, collaborative supervision relationship where growth, authenticity, and professional fulfillment can thrive.
I also recognize that our early experiences profoundly shape our emotional and physical well-being, and I take the time to explore each person’s unique life circumstances. I pay close attention to how the body holds onto trauma, fear, and depression, helping clients release these burdens through mindful awareness.
Through a process of deep understanding and mindfulness, my clients gain insight into how their experiences have shaped them and uncover opportunities for authentic self-discovery and growth. This journey of connection to self often leads to a greater sense of wholeness, contentment, and pleasure in everyday life.
